About

Katie Morgan set up The Actors’ Surgery in 2011 after studying Drama & Theatre-Arts at Goldsmiths University, Acting at East 15 Acting School and Ecole Gaulier, Paris and teaching at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

Throughout her career she has balanced acting with working with a huge variety of venues and institutions such as Italia Conti Academy, East 15 Acting School, ALRA, University of the Arts, London, Central Film School and the Almeida Theatre, and in film for director Matthew Vaughan and casting director Reg Poerscout Edgerton working as a coach on films such as ‘Kick Ass 2’ and ‘Kingsmen The Secret Service.’

She has trained all levels of ability from professional and Olivier Award winning actors, to complete beginners, actors in training and actors returning to the craft, as well as offering her services to corporate clients such as Expedia, Bloomberg, Warner Bros, Dinner by Heston, Nomura Investment Bank, The Department for Education, start ups, law firms and high net worth individuals.

The Actors’ Surgery offers bespoke 1-2-1 acting lessons, group masterclasses and corporate training workshops for adults aged 18 – 90. Her sessions cover a multitude of skills and techniques designed to help in many scenarios.

My mission is to help actors, actors in training and non actors to eliminate blocks that are preventing them from expressing themselves, undo bad habits, build confidence and through an individual and holistic approach, encourage people to embrace their uniqueness and find their authentic voice. The focus is on honesty, simplicity, empathy, imagination, humanity, connection and shared experience.
